Musaimeer Pumping Station, Qatar

We were invited to assist in developing  documentation for the purpose of the tender bid for the design and build of a new pumping station in Doha. The scope of the investment included not only a technological pumping station building but also several ancillary facilities such as: an office and residential building, a workshop building, fire protection facilities, canopies over the fuel tanks, a transformer station, a generator building, and a gatehouse.

In cooperation with our client (Cundall) we established a relatively detailed multi-branch design concept, which included a site plan, layouts of all builings and structures, as well as a  fire and life safety strategy, providing guidelines for fire protection for all buildings and facilities.

As specifically requested in tender documentation, our designers proposed two options for “architectural treatment” for the whole development.
