Yoga Centre in Warsaw

We have proposed a new functional scheme for an established yoga school in Warsaw which was moving to a new location. The layout of acquired space had been atypical, with an enfilade arrangement and narrow passages. Also the location of sanitary connections strongly limited the options of the functional arrangement. As a result, the gym area has a shape of highly enlongated rectangle.

Our goal was to create a friendly space despite the school’s location in an unattractive basement. In order to improve the comfort of the users we have introduced the concept of “bare foot areas”, and proposed  a space dedicated for the reception, as well as space for informal meetings before or after classes.
