sports hall “TS Wisła” in Cracow

We have proposed the arrangement of the site as to allow for two different development options: (1) keeping the existing old sports hall and (2) removing it and developing an entrance plaza before proposed new building.

We aimed to achieve an elegant shape of the building’s exterior envelope executed with modern materials, whilst, at the same time, following the scale and proportions of neighboring buildings.  Building’s lower part, housing the entrance area, continues the level of the old sports hall; the higher part, housing playfields and stands, follows the line of the neighboring stadium.
